ShadowTail Apps
Apps that make life a little easier to organize.
We build thoughtful apps that help people organize the things that matter — from the classroom to the family calendar, and whatever comes next.
For teachers. For families. And eventually, whatever else life throws at you.

A few things we won’t compromise on.
Useful over complicated. Human over corporate. Thoughtful over flashy. Purpose-built over one-size-fits-all. If a feature doesn’t solve a real problem, it doesn’t ship — and each app is designed around one specific problem, not stretched to cover every use case.
🇨🇦 Trust
Canadian-owned. Canadian-hosted.
Every ShadowTail product is built by a Canadian company, with data hosted in Canada and privacy built in from the start — not bolted on afterward. More about us.
The name
ShadowTail is an old word for squirrel — a planner that gathers, sorts, and keeps track of what matters. That’s the idea behind every app we build. Read the whole story.
What’s next
There’s more in the nest.
Laurel and Merritt are just the beginning. We’re building more useful tools for the things people manage every day — one well-considered app at a time.
